Wilson Vargas – Founder, Myco Organix

Wilson Vargas is a dedicated husband, father, and honorable service member whose life was forever changed during his military service. While serving overseas Wilson was critically injured in an explosion that left him living with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and PTSD. Like many veterans, he struggled to find effective ways to support his mental health and overall well-being.

Through his personal healing journey, Wilson discovered the benefits of mushrooms. While they helped him significantly, there was one problem — they didn’t taste good. Determined to make wellness more accessible and enjoyable, Wilson began experimenting and innovating, eventually developing a way to make mushroom-based products both effective and great-tasting.

What started as a personal solution became a mission. From resilience, necessity, and lived experience, Myco Organix was born — a brand rooted in healing, intention, and real-world impact.
